The Pepsi Refresh Project is an idea that the Pepsi Cola Company implemented this year, rather than spending $2.5 million per 30 seconds of advertising during the last Super Bowl.
The project is a grant platform that takes anyone’s project ideas and awards between $5k and $250k to the most popular ideas each month, with each month’s prize money adding up to around $1.3 million.

The goals of the “Return the Favor” VFW Campaign are to provide financial aid to military families for rent, utilities and food; Morale boosting “welcome home” or “sendoff” events for troops; and Free communication options for troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
